Intended Use:
SureStep™ Test Strips are for use with the SureStep™
Plus Blood Glucose Meter for quantitatively measuring
glucose in whole blood.

When a drop of blood is applied to the pink test square of
a SureStep Test Strip, the confirmation dot on the back of
the test strip turns blue. A confirmation dot that is completely
blue verifies adequate blood application.
•
The SureStep Brand Meter reads the glucose level of a whole
blood sample on a SureStep Test Strip and gives a result that
is comparable to a plasma value. The SureStep System plasma
calibration allows you to more easily compare your SureStep
Brand Meter results with your lab results.

For testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic
use).

Storage
and Handling:
•
Store your test
strips in their original bottle only.
•
After removing
SureStep Test Strips from a bottle, replace the bottle cap
tightly.
•
Use each test
strip immediately after taking it out of the package.
•
Do not use test
strips that have passed the expiration date on the package.
•
Store in a cool,
dry place not above 86°F (30°C). Keep away from direct
sunlight and heat. Do not refrigerate.
•
Discard test
strips from the bottle 4 months after first opening. Write
the discard date on the bottle when you open it.
•
Do not bend,
cut, or change a SureStep Test Strip in any way.
