Control Solution should be used at least once a week, whenever you suspect the meter or test strips may not be functioning properly, and every time a new vial of test strips is opened. Use of control solution is also recommended for teaching or learning your LifeScan System.

Control Solution Storage and Handling:

• Discard 3 months after opening. Write the discard date on vial.
• Do not use if expiration date has passed.
• Store at temperatures under 86 °F (30 °C).
• Do not refrigerate.

Precautions:

• For in vitro diagnostics use only.
• Shake vial well before use.
